Smart Audio
Smart Audio makes music and audio part of the building rather than a collection of separate speakers. Users can play different audio in individual rooms, group several areas together or control the entire property from a compatible app, keypad or Smart Home system.
AZTÖR Automation designs Smart Audio systems for villas, apartments, hotels, restaurants, offices, meeting spaces and commercial properties across the UAE, covering both new projects and carefully planned retrofits.
For villas and premium homes, Multi-Room Audio allows spaces such as the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, terrace and entertainment areas to operate as independent audio zones. Selected zones can also be grouped when the same audio is required throughout the property.
A properly designed system starts with the room rather than the speaker brand. Room size, ceiling height, listening position, interior finishes, speaker locations and expected volume all influence the number and type of speakers required.
Depending on the project, AZTÖR can design systems using in-ceiling speakers, in-wall speakers, architectural speakers, subwoofers and suitable outdoor speakers together with multi-zone amplifiers, streaming devices and audio controllers.
Smart Audio can integrate with KNX and compatible Smart Home or Building Automation platforms. Audio can then become part of scenes such as Welcome, Relax, Dining, Entertainment or Away alongside Smart Lighting, Curtains and other connected functions.
Mobile apps provide convenient control of compatible systems, while wall keypads or touch panels can offer simple everyday operation without requiring users to open an app each time they want to adjust a room.
Commercial projects require a different approach from residential entertainment. Restaurants, hospitality areas, retail spaces and offices may need independently controlled audio zones, scheduled operation and appropriate equipment for longer operating periods.
For existing properties, AZTÖR can assess available cabling, ceiling access, network infrastructure and existing AV equipment before recommending a wired, network-based or hybrid solution.

Speaker quantity and amplifier size should be calculated together, with correct impedance, power handling and cabling considered before installation.
