PIN Readers
PIN Readers provide controlled entry using a personal identification number entered through an access-control keypad. They are a practical keyless access solution for offices, staff areas, residential buildings, warehouses and other restricted locations.
AZTÖR Automation supplies and installs PIN Readers and keypad access control systems for doors, Automatic Doors, Turnstiles and other controlled entrances across the UAE.
PIN access can operate as a standalone credential or alongside RFID cards, Face Recognition, Fingerprint and other supported authentication methods. For higher-security areas, suitable systems can require Card + PIN or Biometric + PIN before access is granted.
Users can be assigned individual PIN codes and access permissions according to doors, areas and permitted schedules. Individual codes are preferable to one shared building PIN where user accountability is required.
PIN Readers can integrate with electromagnetic locks, electric strikes and compatible electronic locking systems. Successful authentication can also trigger Automatic Sliding Doors, Automatic Swing Doors, Turnstiles or Speed Gates.
For visitor and contractor access, suitable systems can provide temporary or time-limited PIN codes, reducing the need to issue permanent access cards.
