Automatic Swing Glass Doors
Automatic Swing Glass Doors combine a conventional hinged glass door with a compact automatic operator that opens and closes the leaf safely and smoothly. They are particularly useful where a sliding entrance is not practical because of limited side space, or where an existing manual swing door needs to be upgraded to automatic operation.
AZTÖR Automation supplies, installs, programmes and maintains automatic swing door systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality and public buildings across the UAE and wider GCC. Solutions can be configured for single-leaf or double-leaf doors and for framed, patch-fitted or suitable glass entrance arrangements depending on the door construction and selected operator.
Swing door automation is also an effective retrofit solution. In many UAE properties, an existing manual glass, aluminium, timber or metal door can be automated without replacing the complete entrance. AZTÖR provides a free site inspection to assess the door condition, hinges, pivot points, leaf weight, opening angle, structural fixing, available power, pedestrian movement and safety requirements before recommending an operator.
Depending on the application and product availability, AZTÖR can work with established automatic door brands used across the UAE and GCC, including dormakaba, GEZE, ASSA ABLOY, TORMAX and other suitable manufacturers. Operator selection is based on the actual door rather than simply choosing a motor by appearance or price.
Automatic swing doors can be activated using radar or presence sensors, push buttons, touchless switches, access-control systems, card readers, biometric readers or other authorised inputs. For controlled entrances, the door can remain securely closed until access is granted and then automatically open for the authorised user.
Safety is particularly important because a swing leaf travels through an arc rather than sliding parallel to the entrance. Appropriate safety sensors and operating parameters are therefore selected according to pedestrian traffic, door speed, opening direction and surrounding space. AZTÖR also provides preventive maintenance, operator replacement, sensor replacement, control-board repair and emergency breakdown support for existing swing door systems.
