Fisheye Camera CCTV
Fisheye Camera CCTV uses an ultra-wide-angle lens to capture a panoramic view from a single camera position. When correctly positioned, one camera can monitor a much wider area than a conventional fixed CCTV camera.

Ceiling-mounted Fisheye Cameras are commonly used for 360° room coverage, while wall-mounted installations can provide approximately 180° panoramic monitoring depending on the camera and mounting arrangement.
The original fisheye image appears circular or heavily curved because of the ultra-wide lens. Compatible NVR or VMS platforms can provide dewarping, converting the panoramic image into easier-to-view virtual perspectives without physically moving the camera.
Depending on the selected model, users can view the full panorama together with multiple digitally dewarped views. This makes Fisheye CCTV useful for monitoring open spaces, shop floors, reception areas and other locations where reducing blind spots is important.
Professional Fisheye Cameras are available with different resolutions, low-light capabilities, WDR and AI analytics. Suitable models can support people counting, heat mapping, intrusion detection and other business or security analytics.
Fisheye CCTV can be integrated with compatible NVR and VMS platforms for recording, playback, dewarping and remote monitoring. Recorder and software compatibility should be checked carefully because panoramic viewing and analytics capabilities vary between platforms.
A Fisheye Camera can reduce the number of conventional cameras required in suitable spaces, but it should not automatically replace dedicated cameras where detailed facial, entrance, cash-counter or long-distance identification is required.

Fisheye CCTV should be selected according to room dimensions, mounting height, required panoramic coverage and the level of image detail needed at different points in the scene. Higher megapixel resolution does not guarantee identification quality across the entire 360° image. NVR/VMS dewarping compatibility, bandwidth and storage should also be checked before installation.
